For a year now, I’ve been thinking about my lack of friends. Introverted and naturally solitary, I concede that my loneliness has begun to weigh on me. And so, as I do, I decided to try something. An experiment with myself. What if I try to make friends? Yes, now in my late forties and juggling kids and work and battling fatigue. What if I documented, so to speak, the experience?
